Gladly it's not only me who's suffering.
This is the advice of the girl in Tesco's gave me (and I'm doing my best to use the right words):
'Stick the pin in, back and forth (or in and out).
Then take the plastic penduncle.
Put the pin in top of it and stick it in again, back and forth.
Do you understand what I mean?'
23 years on and I still don't know what they mean. Mine fall off in no time and I end up buying loads. Perhaps...that's what they mean. D
